Just an update on the Mixes!
We had a wonderful weekend in Madrid. It was sunny and warm Thursday. Megan and I walked to "University City" which is an area at the top of a big hill. We walked of course!!! Found St. Louis University....it is VERY small.....Meg's wondering about it now......
Mike joined us Friday and we showed him around! Took a bus tour. Madrid is a beautiful, clean city with big beautiful buildings kind of like in London.....but the prices are much better. We went to a theater there and saw "La Cirque" which was like a circus with juggling, magic, high trapeze and it was really good and enjoyable. Mamma Mia and Victor/Victoria was also playing there....but we weren't sure if they were in English! We ate wonderful food and enjoyed sightseeing.
Back on Sunday night.
I've had fun seeing old friends and went to the IWA coffee morning today and saw LOTS of people I know....didn't know I knew so many! Ha! Lots of people I never had a chance to say goodbye to since we /I left during summer break!
We got the lease on the house in Cluj and tomorrow the packers come to move us out. (Of course Mike is in Cluj until Thursday!!!!)
Friday Meg leaves to come back to the States at 7:30 and I catch a 9:15 flight to Cluj to meet the movers and move into our new house. Can't wait to see Barney! It sort of feels like another whirlwind trip! Whew! And I'm sure April and May are going to fly by too!
We checked on the hotel in Boston for May and we are booked for May 4, 5, & 6 in the Tremont Marriot Hotel.
Casey was in Chicago on the weekend doing her presentation at a medical meeting .
Shannon is taking practice MCAT every Sat. now until the real thing the end of April.
Megan has had fun with friends this week......And that's the latest!
