Update on Us...

Just a quick note to update everyone on what's happening with us. We are counting down the days of school we have left (12) and are looking forward to the summer. We had an offer on our house here in BA last week, but it ended up falling through, as the lady couldn't get financing. She was from San Jose California and was relocating to OK. We aren't too upset by it because we are pretty sure that 2 more offers are coming in this week. Hopefully we'll get this thing sold sometime in the middle of June.

We have been to Omaha the last 2 weekends and are planning to go back this weekend, too. We have seen dozens of houses, but nothing too great. We did find one that we really liked in a nice, quiet neighborhood 1 block from a golf course. We made an offer on Monday, but the owners were in no hurry to sell and were not interested in negotiating on price at all. So, we withdrew our offer. There are about 3 more houses that we want to see this weekend, but the thought of driving up there again makes me weary!!! Our tentative schedule is to drive to Mom and Dad's Friday night, leave the girls there Saturday and drive up to Omaha for the day, then back to the farm. It will be nice to see Mom on Mother's Day!!!

The girls are doing great, even with all the traveling. They love to watch movies on the DVD player in the car. Delaney is walking everywhere, although Joel laughs that she looks like she's had a few too many drinks by her stumbling! She got her first molar over the weekend and the other 3 will soon follow.

Olivia has a ballet recital and a piano recital next weekend, she is getting excited for that. We will certainly miss her teachers that she has grown to love. But we are excited for a new life in Omaha.

I had an interview on Monday at a science and technology magnet school in Omaha and have been offered the position of 8th grade science teacher. I am really excited at the opportunity to teach in a school that is focused on Science.

Wow, that's a long post. Sorry if I've bored you!!! Hope everyone is doing well, we love you all and miss you terribly! Hopefully we'll get to see more of you when we're a little closer.Talk to you all later,

Regina and the fam...
