Romania Ramblings

Hi Everybody!
A Belated Happy Birthday to Delaney! Can't wait to see some pictures! Did everyone enjoy THE LION KING?
Well, we've been home a week and Mike came down with a cold/flu a few days ago! Came back from Bucharest on Thursday with plugged ears and it went downhill from there! He was running a temp yesterday and the doctor put him on antibiotics. Still home from work today....so you know he's not feeling good!
Not much to report here. The dog and cat are fine! They're glad we're back though so they can be spoiled as usual. We started the new year with a weight loss plan and we are feeling pretty good because we both lost some pounds already. Now if we can keep it up. I've been walking and doing this yoga tape I bought in the U.S. The weather has been go great...and it is sunny again to day.....temps round 40 . We have a path out in the pasture behind our house.....5 times around is a mile. I always try to get Barney to go with me but he is usually only good for a couple of rounds! Lazy 'ol dog

Betty Sue started a scrapbook day at her house on Thursdays....so I am hoping to get my BOX of pictures organized! It's a BIG BOX!
Working on Megan's quilt, Bible study and I need to start up on my Romanina lessons again....keeps me busy enough!
We had a chance to go to a professional Basketball (Romanian) game Friday night but Mike wasn't up to it. Betty Sue and Dave went and said it was a good game. No smoking in the gym itself, but when you went out in the hall you couldn't see or breathe because of the smoke. Then they went to leave at half time and the doors were locked and guarded and they were told they couldn't leave.....they got nervous but then some captain came and let them out along with some others and told them they couldn't come back in. She said they must have sold 100 more tickets than there was room and people were mobbing the door trying to get in! well that's Romania for you!
We enjoyed our time with everyone at Christmas! My pictures on my little disposable cameras didn't turn out worth a HOOT!!!!! So if anyone could send me some digital pictures I would love it!
I'm going to try to be better at blogging and keeping in touch this year!
