Keeping Busy Here!!!!

Hi! How is everyone this week? I wanted to write and call everyone this weekend and our computer was down! Bummer! As far as I know...Meg is back from San Fran. and Shannon was driving home and still in Texas when I spoke to her Saturday night! Casey has had a weekend of night shifts!
I had a good week last week. Mon...Romanian lesson I'm starting to know lots of words...still working on speaking it! Tues....Bible study Wed....a had a sushi session at my house....we made over 160 pieces!!!! Everyone took some home for dinner. Thursday I usually have scrapbooking at Betty Sue's but no one else showed up so we packed up her dog Salem and we spent the day at my house because it was warm and sunny....walked and she whomped me in a game of canasta...had another Rom. lesson in the morning. Friday we had the women's club meeting...our 2nd! Betty Sue hosted....we had a lady here from Germany talk about homeopathy....wow it was really interesting....I learned a lot and am impressed with the results she had with it. Then Friday night, one of the gals in my Bible study had a Chick Flick Night....we made pizza ...all kinds! Even had a tuna, pineapple, and raisin pizza!...then we watched the old classic Goodbye Mister Chips....it was fun....Mike got in late from Bucharest that night so he was in bed asleep when I got home at 11!!!! Sat. MIke took me out to dinner...we had sushi! Again! There is a fantastic Japanese restaurant here that we will take you too if you come this summer!!!! You don't even have to eat sushi! HA!
Oh! Here is something interesting....
Megan is going to be doing a marketing campaign for a pharmecutical company who is sponsoring a contest. She will be the only American on the team along with 5 other team members who are from different continents around the world! She thought she would apply for it and got accepted! She will go to Portugal next August I think to present her plan with her team! That's all the details I know right now! Now if Meg reads this and I'm all wrong about everything...she will just have to write and set things straight!
We go to London this weekend...and guess what! The Cluj airport is closed this weekend!
So we have to drive to Targu Mures (1 1/2 hours)..fly to Bucharest and then on to London!
We'll be there Friday at 11:30 if all goes well. Casey lands at 11Am if all goes well and we'll spend a few days together in London! Back on Wed....direct to Cluj!

Yesterday we went to a Romanian Orthodox baptism...THAT was interesting! Then went to the reception (for Manu and baby Luca)....then went to a birthday party for Dave Zollner!
Today I helped Erica make some bumper pads for the crib she bought Charbel....he keeps bumping his head! They turned out pretty good. Tomorrow is Bible study...Wed. Janice is teaching us how to make pirogie....sort of like ravioli only it's a eastern europe thing...her ancestors are from Ukraine.....
