Well- I've been planning to get on here and post about our Monsoons! WHAT CRAZY storms! Roads under water, trees down everywhere, lightening displays like i've never seen....but! There's been a newer BIGGER more exciting development out here....
WE BOUGHT A HOUSE
Here are some pictures:
It is a three car garage- one doube and then a separate single which is currently being used as a workshop. The workshop is being removed so we can put a car in there- because brian has a work car and a personal car we have too many!
The entryway is between the garages- it really makes the house have a southwestern feel to it- and the area by the door is covered which is nice with the sun and rain! The house has a North/South orientation on the lot so we won't get direct sun in most of the days. Our neighbors will block that out- except in the back yard where sun is definately welcome!
When you get through the front door there is a formal dining room area to the right, and a living room area to the back and right. The kitchen is at the back of the house to the left with an island and then another area for a family table- we would proabably just put the dining room table there, and use the formal dining area as a formal sitting area.
You can see how open this area is and it's all Tile which was my preference! Its so dusty here so to just swiffer the floor will be great!
The master bedroom is behind the double car garage and shares the wall with the livingroom area. It is nice and spacious. Off of which is a master bath, and off of that is the walk-in closet.
The other two bedrooms and full bath are on the other side of the house behind the single car garage and kitchen. They are a cute, one has two blue/lavender tinted walls the other is neutral. It has a bath shower combination whereas the master bath has a separate shower and jaccuzzi tub.
And last, but not least is the backyard. It's small, but has a pool, water fall, room for some patio furniture and a grill- we will add some greenery- at least one tree and some flowers! The pool has a floating vaccuum so we won't have to be out there everyday cleaning it! We are SOOOO EXCITED!
So that's our new house! We close end of september so COME ON OUT AND VISIT!

WOW! I just can't believe you are getting a house already! Are you serious about company? It looks like a nice place to spend the month of January! HA! Congratulations! Love and miss you!

Hi Regina-
The house is 1 exit north of where we currently are. So it'll be about a 30 minute commute to work for me, and 45 minute commute to work for brian. But it is in the community that all the ice ppl live and most of our friends so we are really looking forward to getting up there!
Boy you weren't kidding when you said you were going to get serious about househunting! You had a house by the weekend! ha!
