Checking in

Hi Everyone-
Hope all is well. Things here in AZ are busy busy! We got a phone call from Cox (cable tv) saying that someone was moving into our apt in October and they wanted to make sure we were leaving before setting up their account. WHAT GOOD NEWS! We've been worried that we would be paying rent here and mortgage payments for our new house until our lease ran out in Dec. The ppl here said they wouldn't even start listing our apt until we moved out! Well they lied and we are GLAD! We will not miss being renters that is for sure. And since cox called us we went ahead and had our cable transfered to our new house! We plan to be all moved in by the 30th but have until the 9th of October if we need it! YAY!

I have been sick and Brian has done nothing but work this week. He's been home after I've been in bed the last 3 nights. I was really looking forward to having today with him to just talk and pack and catch up! BUT- he was called out for a surveillance they thought had evaporated last night and is happening NOW. He's been gone since 11:30 and they are following the target north to who knows where! Tomorrow and Monday I work on the floor. I got 2 naps in today so hopefully i will be able to shake free of this cold! I can't believe i'm sick in 100+ degree weather that is just not right!

Tuesday I have to pack for vegas. Wednesday I am orienting to another unit in the hospital where the babies go- I'm looking forward to that. It's not the newborn nursery but for sick babies. Then Thursday I'm going to get my hair cut, and a pedicure and friday it's off to vegas to meet up with some of my best friends! I am excited. We are going to see stomp and possibly go to a blues house gospel brunch, amongst other things I'm sure!

Megan is coming to see me for thanksgiving I am excited for that. Shannon has to get her request in at her work and then she should be able to join us as well. We will have fun baking a turkey in the new kitchen! Gas stove top, electric oven- my dream kitchen really! And when it's too hot in the kitchen we'll go jump in the pool HA!

I sure miss you guys and Brian and I are trying to get to MO for New Years- just waiting for Brian's Boss to come back to OK his leave. We hope to be there Dec 28-Jan5, same as last year but longer. Don't know if the family has any plans yet but am looking forward to it just the same! Then Mom and Dad will probably fly home with us Jan 5th and stay a few days to see the new house and tucson. I am glad they will be coming to visit!!
