Back on the Blog

I am so sorry I haven't blogged! I sort of forgot about it for some reason and had missed the latest since mid September!!!! So Sorry!
We are doing well here in Cluj-Napoca and we have been enjoying a nice Indian summer for the past couple of weeks! I've been walking a lot with Barney and it's just been very pleasant!
It still feels like summer to me because we have had so many Bechtel people moving in...with wives! Everyone is getting settled in and we have a very nice group of people. It's amazing to me how we all fit in with each other and that makes it especially nice!

Last week several couples went to the "Russian" Ballet that was in town. They were actually out of Kiev, Ukraine. A lot of men went too and most of them decided they could check that one off on their lifetime list of things to see and do! I really enjoyed it...they were really good AND entertaining....they performed scenes from various ballets. And I've been watching Dancing with the Stars on slingbox...that's been fun with Marie Osmond and Jane Seymour dancing it makes me want to take some ballroom dancing classes...I'm going to see what I can find here.

The road is progressing in spite of a few steps back....this week they had several forward...but we'll see if the money actually comes through. Mike's hair is growing back! It's about 1/2 inch long! He has a Management Training Seminar in London next week so I am going along with him Wed. -Sun. Hope we can take in a show.

The girls are doing good too. Casey is in the new house and loves it....They live in a really nice community and it sounds like she is walking there a lot...Loves her job too. Shannon is happy in Osage Beach with job and Jeroen and Houdini her kitty. Megan says the work is starting to pile on at school, but she is happy she is getting a visit from Casey, Grandma Mix, and Jeff (Shannon's friend) next week. Casey and Brian go back for a wedding, Grandma is going on a trip with her sister's at a time share Lee and Ruth have, and Jeff is applying for jobs and looking for housing.

That's really about all I know! Not much is it! ha! Anyway we are excited for Regina's baby to arrive soon! Hope all is well with all of you! Love you and miss you! Jan
