Hi Everyone -

We're here at Mom and Dad's so I'm posting on their blogger account! Sorry!! :)

We wanted to let you all know that Joel's Grandma, Valeria, passed away Sunday afternoon around 2:20pm. It has been a long and difficult few weeks and I think everyone feels this is a blessing. Last Sunday she tried to crawl out of bed and fell and broke her pelvis so her pain has been really awful. Her children were all with her when she passed so that is a blessing, too. She was 88.

There will be a rosary on Tuesday night at 7pm and the funeral will be at 11am on Wednesday at the Catholic church in Marysville.We decided to drive to Kansas tonight because Tulsa is expected to get a heavy dose of ice and snow starting tomorrow around noon. We didn't want to take any chances!!! We finally got to Mom and Dad's around 10 pm and I just got Jillian to sleep - she was all fouled up after a late nap in the car!
