Happy New Year!

Hello family! We hope you are all safe and warm this snowy new year! Dennis and I are hibernating tonite- more snow is arriving, along with some strong winds. When I came home from work today, a bulldozer was widening the path down the road south of our house where the snowplow piled the most snow at Christmas. The thought is to make room to pile this snow when it starts drifting! Operating the dozer was Dennis' nephew Joe. He parked the dozer here in the yard, and it may come in handy!

I got the tree taken down tonite and the living room looks a little bare now! We enjoyed having Christmas here with Regina and Ben and families on Saturday the 26th. We tried out Regina's new tripod for the picture above! The idea of a white Christmas was rather festive, and it sure looks beautiful outside, but we aren't looking forward to the long days of snow cover - calving starts in just a month!

I spent a couple of days in Osage Beach with Jan and family last weekend. Our time together always goes too quickly!

Wishing you all a happy, healthy 2010! Keep in touch!

Love Barb
