MIX HAPPENINGS

Hi all!

There has been so much happening lately I haven't taken time to blog.....and it looks like you've been busy too!
We are in the process of buying another lake home! Mike's brother Doug and wife have been going to our place in Osage Beach for the last 3 years and looking at real estate when they are there. Well, Easter Sunday when they were driving around there, they found what they were looking for. Mike and Doug had talked about buying a property down there together and we think they found the perfect place. It is on the west side of the lake....429 Aspen , Sunrise Beach, MO. I will try to post a couple of pictures. Mom MIx and I went down on Tuesday and I loved the place. 4 acres, 4Br, 3 Bath, 2-well boat dock, on a nice private cove, etc. Our plan is to rent it out for vacation rentals. It is by Port Cima(Arnold Palmer golf course) and in a popular area for vacationers. Can't wait for you all to see it! If you want...come on down Memorial Day weekend and check it out! I'll try to post a picture.
Casey- finishing up classes, apartment hunting, and has to decide between a couple of jobs that she is interested in....trying to figure out what to do with all of us when we get there!
Shannon- took her MCAT test Saturday....a grueling 10 1/2 hour test!!!! She had a lunch break.
That is a weight off her shoulders! Now she can concentrate on her other classes! She is planning on working at the college this summer if she can't get a hospital job and take a couple of more classes. She found a furnished apartment to rent from a fellow Pi Beta Phi so we don't have to move her this summer!
Megan- the school has decided they will pay the shipping on her books for Sri Lanka so she has been packing them up (over 1000) in Starbucks boxes!She is with friends when she's not in school! It's getting pretty hard for to concentrate on school these days!!
I sang in our church choir's Easter cantata today...at both services...it was nice. I sang in a trio in one part of it.
Mike's mother Carol is going to Romania with me in June! She may stay awhile.
