Howdy everybody! Wow, the weather is the main topic around here lately... It was sooo hot this weekend, we thought we'd burn up! Then late this afternoon, a nice little storm blew through here, and we had .70" rain! We are thrilled about the rain and glad it cooled us off a bit.
We are wishing you all a happy 4th of July! We are going to spend the day in Omaha, and Ben and Amanda are going with us. Joel Dennis and ben are going to golf. I don't know what us girls will find to do, but it'll be fun, no doubt!
I played for a very large funeral Saturday. Leo Bindel, who had lived his whole life right there in the Fidelity community died after a battle with liver cancer. Senator Jerry Moran was even at the funeral~they had worked together on some farm issues through the years...
Dennis has gotten lots of hay and straw baled lately. Some big bales, some little. Hopefully the price will be good this winter when it comes time to sell the little square bales!
We leave for Grand Lake, Colorado early in the morning on Tuesday July 18. There will be 18 or so of us Rettele clan camping together! Three families have pop-ups, and the rest are tenters:) Just seeing those old pictures that dad put on CD made us want to be in the mountains! Such good memories!
Heard from Josh that "Boot Camp" was awesome, and that he passed... Maybe he could blog some details!
Not much more news from us but wanted to check in. I had almost forgotten to post the picture of the girls with Great-Grandpa Roy! Delaney loved G'pa's dogs!
Wishing you all a relaxing 4th-maybe you can find a cool place to nap like the kitty does!

Love Barb
