Snow, Birthday, and NEWS!

Olivia building an "igloo"! Delaney, not wanting to build an igloo!
Yummy birthday cake!
I Love Oz!
Birthday presents and red, sparkly shoes!

Happy March, everyone! We have experienced our biggest Nebraska snow yet, over the past 5 days or so, we had about 15 inches of snow. They cancelled school on Thursday and Friday and we were pretty much snowed in until Saturday.

We celebrated Olivia's 6th birthday on Saturday with a "Wizard of Oz" party. Joel was the wizard and we decorated our house in Emerald City green. It was a great time. Mom and Dad, Ben and Amanda, Grandpa and Mary, Joel's Mom, Jane, and his sister Dawn all joined us. We had so much fun. Olivia dressed up as Dorothy and Delaney was just one of the munchkins!!!

For her birthday, Joel took Olivia to Chicago to see the musical "Wicked" which is the story of the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda. The music is wonderful and the show is just beautiful. They got home Thursday around 1am. The snow storm started around 2am so they made it home just in time!

The news we have to share is that we are expecting a baby around October 22nd. Our family was shocked when we told the news at the party, but we are really excited and are praying that our little one is healthy. I am feeling tired but pretty good, overall. The funny part is that Joel's sister announced on Saturday that she and her husband, Teddy, are expecting their first baby, too. She is due on October 24th! Joel's poor mom doesn't know what to think! She says "I can't be 2 places at once! What am I going to do?" We had a good laugh over the whole situation. Anyway, wanted to share the news with those of you that will read this before we actually see you!

I've written too much already. Hope all is well with you! Talk to you soon!

Love,

Regina and the (snowy) Omaha gang
