Horses and the First Day of School

Hello Everyone!

I hope the end of summer was good for all of you. We have been doing great, the girls started school this week, as you can see. Olivia went Thursday and Friday for a 1/2 day and Delaney went for the first time today for a half day, too. So far, so good! They seem to love it and they are excited that next week will be full days. Jillian is full of surprises, too, as she started walking a few weeks ago and now has 2 teeth. She's getting around really quickly and is in to everything!!!

Joel loves his job, everything went smoothly for the beginning of the year for the middle school. He is implementing some pretty big changes, but everyone seems to love him!

I am babysitting the little girl of one of our friends 3 days a week, she just turned 3 and is a sweetie. I am anxious to get into a routine with school and dropping off/picking up the girls. I did a cake for a lady last weekend and have another one to do for another lady in September and one in November. I'm looking forward to that. Some of the pictures are of our vacation to Colorado - the highlight was the girls' (and Joel's) trail ride on horseback. Delaney is on "Huey" and Olivia is on "Geronimo".
