Remember Mr. Hollabaugh, our old bus driver? Well... Amanda and I went to their house and bought 27 laying hens this morning and put them in the chicken house at their little green house up the road!
Amanda caught them with a dip net and we loaded them in a calf hutch to bring home. When we opened it to let them out, we had our first egg! It was perfect and it was soooo exciting!
So, let me know if you need some eggs, we'll fix you up!
What a beautiful day we are having! Dennis and Ben are at a consignment sale in Axtell, and Dennis plays basketball this evening at a benefit tournament in Baileyville.
It truly feels like spring has sprung! Hope you're all enjoying it!
